Dando Latta Para El Latte

Besides baseball, coffee is another thing my dad and I love. I affectionately refer to him as my "coffee buddy". I never tried iced coffee until Dunkin Donuts began offering iced lattes this year. Iced coffee was a very alien concept for me. Coffee is suppose to be hot, so normally in the summer I stopped my coffee consumption (unless I was in an air conditioned room). Who wants to drink something hot in 90 degree weather or in suffocating humidity? This summer (maybe it was spring), I tried the DD iced latte. Now, I need my daily dose of the mocha iced latte, which prompted dad to say "latta por el latte!"

Something tells me you have never been to Yucatan.

Over there the Cafe Frape is more available than Iced Tea. Same concept, they brew the coffee, they let it cook down, they serve it on ice. That way you can have your caffeine fix in the middle of the humid heat of the Mayan jungle.

Iced Lattes are the Seattle yuppie version of it...just kidding!

Unfortunately, I haven't explored many places in Mexico including the Yucatan. Hopefully, now I'll have more money to travel.
