Ah, The Cure. I am almost as old as their MUSICAL career. We became acquainted in my high school years. Chench probably remembers me signing Cure songs as we walked to the bus stop. She probably thought I was a bit odd back then. No word on when The Cure's MTV Icon concert will air. I think I'm gonna have to bust out my Cure greatest hits CD tonight.

Oh thank god. Someone else as sucked into the Cure right now as I am. Been obsessed lately with Robert Smith's voice. Current fave-"Japanese Whispers" era sounding cover of "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Won't leave brain...anyway, thanks for the high school singing memories...
I love the cure. Robert Smith was just the right mix of angst and poetry when I was a teen. Disintegration was my all time favorite.
