***I love to read about Mat. Currently, he is recording the album. Trying hard to meet a deadline so the record is out in the fall of 2005.
Ps: since childhood ive been assembling laws for my future Antarctic kingdom, as you know. less of a blog, and more like scrap paper for random thoughts... so in line with that, note to self: make it felonious to lick one’s fingers before turning a page or counting money and also, for anyone under the age of 50 to grunt, gasp or wheeze audibly while getting up or sitting down..

I have this idea for a mock ‘bands reunited’ VH1 episode to be used as the EPK for our upcoming album. It will feature KH, and in the style of the show, the host and crew will chase down and ambush each band member in different remote locations, and convince the group to reform. We’ll invent retarded post-band occupations for the members (Greg can be whaling in Maine; dan can be moments away from a transgender operation or something) -and in the heart-to-heart segment we’ll overact the clichéd explanations for why things fell apart. “we just got too big too fast.. we were selling well over 90 albums per week” or “mat had a nervous breakdown on stage in Cambodia.”
My good friend steven from Fuse mentioned that he’s friendly with the host of the show and that, theoretically, it is within the realm of possibility. Imagine.
I’ve begun the arduous task of attempting to sight-read music on piano. -Haven’t tried since my lessons in grade school, and it’s extremely humbling for me to struggle over even the most simple pieces… here I am cross-eyed over a minuet that Mozart composed when he was 5.
this snow is getting crazy. it's absolutely hostile outside, 4 degrees -but for the purposes of this record, i love it. the shore of the lake has frozen, and the new waves crash and freeze and crash and freeze and build up these sharp edged giant ice piles that look like white silvery explosions caught in time. when it's done, i think this record is gonna sound cold.
