Hell must have froze over because Mayor Daley is letting a Rock-n-Roll show in Grant Park!
Lollapalooza in taking place in Chicago's Grant Park in July......
Mayor Daley is the same mayor who said no to a FREE concert by the Smashing Pumpkins back in the day......FREE concert in Grant Park.
I never forgave him for that!

Has he forgotten we have a deficit going?
guess he's hoping to get alot of out-of-towners coming to the city for the festival....$$$ on hotels, restaurants, tourist sites, etc.....
probably was the financial opportunity and not the love of rock-n-roll that made him okay it.
