the cries
in the night
even thou blackness
can't dampen them.

even thou brightness
can amplify them.
No one hears
the cries
of the person
breathing
at your side
Doesn't matter,
they continue to cry,
screeching screams
shattering glass,
blowing your earplugs out,
piercing cries
rupturing your eardrums,
Because it is all
they can do,
