Sine Wave

Sine Wave

i need some inspiration...
Going to try to indulge in some art tonight,
A few healthy doses of it
along with a couple of sugar skulls,
Should be enough to prevent
the sine wave from flatlining...........................................................................................

when electrical waves lose their amplitude/shape
the following proceeds:

if it's a shockable rhythm:

Charge!
i'm clear
you're clear
everybody clear!
and the shock is administered..................................................................................

Do we have a rhythm?!
Is it Asystole? Vfib?

Give me epi (epinephrine)
(We're still watching the monitor)

Do we have a pulse? What's the blood pressure?
Run fluids wide open! What's our IV access? Do we have a central line?

Charge!
i'm clear
you're clear (this is usually omitted, but the next line takes care of it)
everybody clear!
and the shock is administered................................................................................

BTW....sine waves are never a good sign on an EKG.
The human heart is not suppose to produce sine waves....
........only an injured one........or a dying one.

Shall i tell you more medical tales....my versions of "The tell-tale heart"?
....i dig Edgar Allen Poe.
