i envision the moon (maybe 3 clones of it) with Beatle haircuts
to look like the cover of the Beatles record....."beatles for sale"
but i was reading this loony story at Mariposa's site
and this is my take on the moon for sale:
the moon belongs to everyone...
to the astronomers,
to the poets,
to the songwriters,
to lovers,
to daydreamers,
to painters,
to photographers,
to curious children,
to the melancholy,
to that woman who thinks
of him in faraway places
the moon lets her know
he is closer than she thinks.

this is sweet..reminded of me of when i was in my teens. My neighbor from downstairs supposedly had a crush on me and one night...him and his lived downstairs from the parents so that's why i was able to see him at night...we were outside talking and he looks up at the moon and asks me if i like it. I say yes and then he tells "es tuya te la regalo". i thought it was the sweetest thing. i always think of him when i look at MY moon :-)

i do enjoy when u flutter by here.
i do think one can be in love with the moon. I have had a long affair with the moon ...la luna. i remember looking at la luna in my childhood ...marvelling at it....wishing this little girl could be an astronaut and walk on the moon too :)
but i won't be that kind of lover that cages his love...hiding her from the world...i would prefer to let her be free to shine...so others could see how special she was.
let him be free and shine? Hmm, you must have a lucky boyfriend! jk

i only say that because people can get quite possessive with their girlfriend/boyfriend. We need to remember not to "cage" them....I see it quite often where a guy "restricts" what his girl does..who she talks to...because of jealousy. She can be the most faithful partner...but she can't be herself...pursue her interests...because he gets jealousy. we have to trust our girlfriend/boyfriend.
