Some band in 70s attire was performing that song
near one of the gates at the ballpark.
Yeah.....I finally made it to a White Sox game!

The band might as well been singing that song to me
because, boy, did I burn.
I'm not use to being in the sun for extended periods of time.
So I forgot to wear sunscreen to the ballgame
and I forgot my sunglasses.
My poor nose (portions of my arms & chest) paid for it.
But I was ecstatic that my Sox won.

I hadn't been to the ballpark this year
but the atmosphere was Fantastic!
The bands at the gates get you in a good mood....ready for some fun!
The crowds were upbeat and loud.
I loved all the noise they generated when the White Sox
took the field at the beginning of the game.
I've never seen (or heard) White Sox fans that happy
but it's the affect of winning a World Series.
I didn't have drunk fans spilling beer on my stuff.
There were homerun fireworks.....three times during the game!
I also got to see the World Series trophy.
It was a great day at the ballpark.
I love baseball !!
I love it even more when my team is winning ;)

*I'm not a big fan of all disco music, but this one is a fun song. Great when you want to be in a silly mood.
