Excuses

it's looking more like an excuse
an excuse to start a fight
an excuse to launch a war


i actually heard someone say today
that it was a shame
that innocent people have to die
that innocent people have to be killed
it's a shame
but it must be done

i can't agree with those comments.
innocent people don't have to be killed.
they just don't care enough to protect "innocent" lives.
their hatred and fear cloud their judgement.
land must be more valuable than human life.
try telling a mother that her child HAD to die
Had to be sacrificed to perserve a nation.

a child
with no terrorist ties
dies
she cries
government continues
to dish out the lies
