Duh!

Apparently, this week some Chicago newspaper and some Chicago news program
both did stories on the ridiculous wait at the cook county hospital.

the norm can be a 10 hour wait......not 10 minutes ....a 10 hour wait.

Doh!
This is finally becoming "NEWS"?
This has been the sad case at the cook county hospital pharmacy for years....YEARS

Of course, people don't care....haven't bothered to care....because it affects the poor ...the uninsured.

This problem existed at the old CCH....and continues at the new CCH

Some patients have waited for DAYS to get medications. Some have waited WEEKS because their specific meds weren't available.

Furthermore, I don't think budget cuts at the CCH pharmacy are going to fix this problem. It will probably make it worse.

But when you are poor/uninsured, I guess you don't matter....you aren't "top priority"
