I love mom's sayings.
I heard a new one....

"Yolandita pisas el sapo"

I responded with a "que??"
and looked around me to see if I was stepping on something
....no sapo near me.....
She had me really confused.

Even my dad didn't know what she meant. He said that it must be a Guanajuato thing. Guanajuato is tierra de los sapos.

Apparently, it's a saying my abuelito used.



so on another day I told her

"hoy no pise el sapo....
......lo aplaste!"
