The question plaguing me since the trade: Is Nomar Garciaparra a Latino?
There are several websites which break down the Latino MLB players by their country. Nomar wasn't on any of those lists. I did find a website where the same question was being debated; someone seems to think he is Mexican. My brother thinks he might be Italian. All I know is Nomar grew up in California. Does he even speak Spanish?

According to this link, he is Mexican.
Don't worry about the multi-deleted posts. I sometimes run amuck on other sites with my comments. :)
That is what I knew, that he is Mexican-American.
The last name may be a composite though, Garcia Parra.
