A local neighborhood paper mentioned that the Chicago Public Library plans on going wireless. It said ALL 79 CPL branches will have wireless internet. So NOT just the sites in trendy neighborhoods. Soon you'll be able to bring your laptop to the library. Bets waiting in line to use one of the library's computers!
"With a personal WiFi enabled laptop computer or PDA, patrons will have FREE access to the Internet, the Library's computerized catalog, digital collections, and databases, without waiting to use a CPL computer. For more info, call (312) 747-4050."
