strange but true sightings of last week
mariachi on a grassy knoll of a local park
in their traditional outfits
and with their musical instruments
(they were doing a photo shoot)
a family of geese crossing the street like humans
using the crosswalk (well, almost)
mama and papa geese in front
and the two little ones in the back
hurry up, hurry up
before traffic comes
they did zigzag behind the car that stopped at the red light
baby geese couldn't hop over the high sidewalk
so the little ones trot
along to a lower portion of the sidewalk
(made me smile)
