Pentagon Slogans

One Friday morning, i'm listening to XRT while racing down the Kennedy Expressway. One of the DJs, Lin Brehmer, answers questions from listeners. Not ordinary questions.
On 7/29/05, the topic was the War on Terror.

"If fast food restaurants can change their slogans, why can't the Pentagon?"
"War on terror ......have it your way!"
Now it is the "Global Struggle Against Extremism."
"We are sending out for a better script."
"Catapult the propaganda!"
"We still at War!"

Trust me, if you listen to the audio clip, you will have a good laugh. Well, if you are not a Dubbya supporter. Click on the "War on Terror" by 7/29/05 on the link above.

Yesterday I went to a cookout where the hosts do not approve of Bush's administration.

One of the guests repeatedly stated how much he loves Bush.

Then he said that the toppling of Saddam's statue in Baghdad was more real than the rising of the flag in Iwo Jima, which is exactly when grandma told him to shut up and never to mention Bush in that household again.

I was elated.
