I am a woman of science..
This does not mean i discard Hope
like yesterday's vinyl.
This lady of science believes in miracles.
Near my penlight, reflex hammer, & PDA,
I make sure to fill the pockets of my medical coat
with hope, keeping extra room for the miracles
which the universe and divinity deliver to me.
I do not perform miracles.
I am only a witness of miracles.
But I'll proudly serve as the universe's or divinity 's medium.
