Sox Daze

Wow.....i've been in such a Sox Daze that Halloween is creeping up on me in an hour.
While my eyes and mind were focused on the White Sox, i did manage to keep an eye on the world. I was working on several posts when i was called to root the Sox to a World Championship.

BTW, the parade for our local heros was FABULOUS. So much love for the White Sox....about 1.5 million people came out to celebrate our new World Series Champions in the downtown area of our glorious city.

The sun was shining brightly on my Sox as their doubledecker buses rode north on Lasalle.
The ticker tape fell from the tops of buildings and skyscrapers....like kisses from the sky. Colorful confetti filled the air. Black and white confetti burst from the crowds as the buses strolled down the blocks. Several helicopters buzzed on the north and south ends of Lasalle.
so many smiles
so many cheers
from people of all ages.....of all ethnicities....

The White Sox deserved such a vibrant welcome.
As they rode thru some of the south side neighborhoods like bridgeport, pilsen, chinatown, & greektown, fans filled the sidewalks to greet the team. Many of the players were moved by such an enormous gesture of love from the city. But they deserved it.....and no less. Especially after all that hard work during the regular season & the playoffs.

However, i do remember i had some posts related to sex and the black panthers that i need to finish. Also some words on Ana Castillo who i saw last week before i rushed home to see the Sox win the championship that night.

Enjoy Halloween
or
the Day of the Dead
(which ever you celebrate)

Peace, Love, and Hope to you all
