World Series commentary: game 2

Game 2 wasn't a 2 hour game.......
Buehrle pitched a decent game but he wasn't as dominating as he can be.

Although we were down in the 6th inning by 2 runs, I still had faith we could rally back.
Then it happened....but i didn't see it......i only heard it.
The tension was mounting; I needed break.
The bases were loaded after Dye was "hit by pitch".....and Paul Konerko was up to bat.
I walked away from telly but was listening to the radio in the other room.......and BANG!
GRAND SLAM by Paulie! White Sox took the lead 6 to 4.

It wasn't over yet......the Houston Astros tied the game at 6 -6.
By then, I was a wreck and I felt sick to my stomach......Was i on the verge of a panic attack?
But it might have been the result of the extra strong cup of coffee i had.
It was the bottom of the 9th inning; the White Sox were batting.
I prayed...PLEASE DON'T go into EXTRA innings...i can't take it.
But if you have been following the Sox this season....
they had several nailbiting games like this one.
Nothing new.....just that it was now the FREAKIN World Series.
I wanted to win game 2.
Then He came to bat.....Scott Podsednik.....
Podsednik......a man who didn't hit any homers in the regular season.
One of the Fox commentators mentioned the Houston closer gave up the walk-off homerun by Pujols in his last outing. Podsednik hit his first homer in game 1 versus Boston in the first round of the playoffs. As Scott stood in the batter box, I thought "he hit a homerun before....can't he do it again?" Then it happened.....walk-off homerun by Podsednik & the Sox won game 2 with a score of 7 to 6.

Sox lead the series 2 to 0
and the next 3 games will be in Houston....
