From Iraq! Wonder how many of those sites are still standing and not rubble on the ground?
The postcard wasn't signed in the back, but who else do I know that's there right now. The word "Marine" on the back was also a clue. He did write a short greeting.
Addendum: Got an email today in the evening from J so he is okay.

It is obvious the pics were taken before the liberation.
Glad to hear J is doing fine.
Our troops should make their own postcards, showing us how things really appear. J mentioned trying to send me some pics but I haven't gotten any yet.
