Imagine how surprised I was to see him on the evening news tonight. He is a pediatric neurologist at Rush who happened to be vacationing with his wife and 2 daughters in that area. The tsunami struck the day they were flying back to the States. Luckily, his family and him survived and now are safe in Chicago. I worked with him during med school as part of my pediatric rotation. He is a wonderful doctor; you could tell by how he treated his patients and their parents.
